From: Sorcha Has anybody else noticed this? .org has been so slow and turning up so many "can't be displayed" lately, for me at least, that I have been using ragtime a lot. It seems to self refresh when browsing threads. I don't think loki and dharma are doing it......is this a new development that will be added to all the servers someday? I like it!! |

27 Mar 01 - 04:32 PM (#426856) Subject: RE: BS: 'ragtime' self-refreshing? From: Sorcha When I'm on .org or anything except ragtime, the threads I have been in are red, the others are blue. They stay that way unitl I either re fresh or get off line and come back on. With ragtime, I can click on a thread, go there, and when I click the back button, if any thread has been posted to since I clicked on the one, it will show up at the top in blue. I don't have to re fresh the page to get new responses........understand now? Not sure how to make it more clear........ |

The threads I have visited stay red until a new post is made, even if I log off & on again. I too use forum home rather than the browser back, I seem to remember Max or Joe saying at some point that it was better for Mudcat if we did that. |
