Tune Req: Here Comes the Bride

Playing another wedding, we have been asked to play this as the bride enters. Now , we know how it goes, but I have never seen the dots for this. Can anyone give me a link to the music for this best known of all tunes?

Thanks in advance

Murray

Murray It comes from the 3rd act of the opera "Lohengrin" by Richard Wagner, and is an unaccompanied vocal Chorus.. I have it on midi and can get the dots from it(with Music works) if you need , and can't get them any other way, PM me and I can e-mail as a Word Doc.

...pushed for time just now...

#4 on this page looks good.

Search for free/sheetmusic/search and you'll get good stuff. Mendelssohn...

The choir I sing with are doing it this Spring as part of an all Operary sort of show. This one sucks big time. If you want the words, I can type them in over the weekend. JohnB

Thanks to you all, I guess you won't have to transcribe now, Micca ! I agree, it is rather a hackneyed piece, and would normally IMHO reflect poorly on the bride'e taste, but, on the other hand, she has asked me to play "Si Bheg , Si Mhor" on solo guitar between the two Bible readings, so she can't be all bad .......

Thanks again, you guys are really helpful, hope I can help somebody out one day (anyone want some Tony McManus transcriptions ?? !! )
