Now , we know how it goes, but I have never seen the dots for this. Can anyone give me a link to the music for this best known of all tunes? Thanks in advance Murray |

29 Mar 01 - 07:31 AM (#428248) Subject: RE: Tune Req: Here Comes the Bride From: Micca Murray It comes from the 3rd act of the opera "Lohengrin" by Richard Wagner, and is an unaccompanied vocal Chorus.. I have it on midi and can get the dots from it(with Music works) if you need , and can't get them any other way, PM me and I can e-mail as a Word Doc. |

29 Mar 01 - 06:22 PM (#428786) Subject: RE: Tune Req: Here Comes the Bride From: Murray MacLeod Thanks to you all, I guess you won't have to transcribe now, Micca ! I agree, it is rather a hackneyed piece, and would normally IMHO reflect poorly on the bride'e taste, but, on the other hand, she has asked me to play "Si Bheg , Si Mhor" on solo guitar between the two Bible readings, so she can't be all bad ....... Thanks again, you guys are really helpful, hope I can help somebody out one day (anyone want some Tony McManus transcriptions ?? !! ) Murray |
