He came from London, UK.,left his friend Martin Winsor,& started a folk club in Newmarket, Auckland NZ.At the "Poles" we saw many artists, Malcolm Price, Nina & Frederik, The Dubliners & The Hamilton County Bluegrass Band. Any old Poles People please respond. |

Malcolm Price was another regular visitor to the London club. Haven't heard anything of him for years, a friend of mine owns his old Gibson B45-12. |

I did a few of my Pomme Poems and sang a song. the next night I jumped on a plane back to Blighty. Friendly crowd and a nice cup of coffee. I would have preferred cider! I think it had closed in 1987 when I was in town again. |
