I start this thread to give everyone another look at this song written by Micca in honor(?) of the occasion.........It really is one of the best rips we've had done here. Brilliant job Micca!!!!!!! ********************************************************** Times Changing by Micca
Come, gather round 'catters where ever your home
Come folkies and poets whose profit is your pen
Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call
Come mothers and fathers throughout the land
The time, it is shown, and gone back at last ********************************************************** Again Micca.....Thanks for a great one!!!!! Spaw

29 Mar 01 - 08:17 PM (#428863) Subject: RE: BS: The Clocks They Are A Changin' From: Mark Cohen As a child I always wondered how the earth knew to slow down or speed up for Daylight Savings Time. Now I live in the other enlightened state: Hawaii, like Arizona, doesn't do DST. Remember in 1973 when they tried to make it DST year-round? It was supposed to save energy. Hahahahaha! Daylight Savings Time started in 1942, I believe, as "War Time", so the factory workers could work later and help the war effort. Listen to rebroadcasts of old radio shows from the 40s and you'll often hear something like "Tune in next Saturday at 7PM Eastern War Time..." Wonderful song, Micca, and thanks for posting it, 'Spaw. (Just check your doctor's wall before the surgery, 'Spaw, and make sure the certificate says "cardiothoracic surgery" and not "urology", and you'll be fine.) Aloha, Mark |
