Help: Jean M. Auel Books on Tape

They say Mudcatters can solve almost anything. Here's one for possible assistance.

I have several of the books on tape that began with CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR. Because these lived in my car while my son and I drove long commutes, and then went on camping trips when our family grew and belnded, a number of tapes within the different series got lost or damaged. Now I am putting what I have together to lend out to people, and one spot to place them I am considering is the local hospice. So I would like to fill in the gaps.

These were recorded in such a way originally that I do not know if they can be copied. Our dual-pocket tape deck was smoked in our fire so I cannot do a test copy.

Anyone have any of these? Can you help?

Contact the publisher & find out if they will sell you replacement tapes for a nominal fee. Sometimes they will.

If your's is the Brilliance recording it's web site is Here Their web site says they use the 2 stereo tracks separately. Maybe a there's a techie who can tell you if copying will keep the tracks separate. It seems like it should if you're recording from & to stereo.

Thanks Burke. If I can do it some other way it would be better-- can't really afford to pay. Maybe if no one here has them they will donate.

What tune are they sung to?

#1,

The Preacher and the Bear

All the Pretty Little Horses

The Rain in Spain Stays Mainly in the Plain

I am still missing one tune due to lack of sufficient material to reconstruct it, but perhaps someone else will have that too.
