"It's one OR the other!" But you keep having birthdays, so I guess you must have grown up anyway! Happy Birthday! |

08 Apr 01 - 02:04 PM (#435832) Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Chanteyranger! From: Sourdough Happy birthday - I think few people have done as much to bring people together in a participatory musical setting in which they can sing music in one of the very places that music would have been known and appreciated. Over the past 25 years, people have cme aboard for chantey sings, enjoyed the camraderie, the song sharing and deepened their appreciation for the songs and the lives of the people who sang them. And this is, as I understand it, a volunteer effort that you do at the Hyde Streete Pier chantey sings. Congratulations and best wishes - Sourdough |

I can tell you he doesn't look 39 (well maybe in dog years)and he doesn't act 39 (unless you're counting in months). The c'ranger is one of the funniest, kindest, most talented folks we know, and we're glad to call him friend. Congratulations, Shirley. Dave & Pam |

Sorry for the belated greetings. I was moving to a new state, uprooting my entire existence, starting a new job. You know, the usual shit. You are a complete prince and it's an honor to know you and I'm happy you are on this Earth and that I can consider you one of my friends. Assuming, of course, that we're still friends since I ignored your birthday for a week ... MWAAAAA! WW |

13 Apr 01 - 02:48 AM (#439592) Subject: RE: Happy Birthday, Chanteyranger! From: Peter Kasin Hello, friends. What great messages! One thing I did was buy myself a dictionary. So with that said, it is wih the greatest of pleasure, honor, excitement, continence, regularity, reasonableness, reckoning, elasticity, flavor, believability, cohesiveness, eggression, malfunction, irradiation, beatification, marvel, deliriousness, defalcation, comportment, rectangularity, intermissiveness, synergy, posterity, obsequiousness, irrepugnance, ebullience, ectostosis, effacement, effluence, passive imunity, grumbletonian defiance, irrefutable incandescence, malleable forthrightness, pugnacious peculiarity, informative bellicosity, iconoclastic expectoration, phonetic illusionism, reverent nihilism, protoplasmic decency, unicameral composure, tenebrific infallibility, isometric mediocrity, meteoric damnification, deplorable somnability, antepenultimate perspicacity, holographic anticular stultification, trinacrian cumulative belligerence, unpreventable tinctorial stupification, gratifyingly oversimplistic uralian vendebility, obstinate gum-like inquisitive duplexity, devonian Guy Fawkes-like devourability, unremarkable contusional irregularity, snappily phantasmoric graciousness, panegyrical maaleous flagelatory tenaculum, designative viscuous diffusion, cogitative necessitous harborage, tremulent overflowingly notional thigmotaxis, unfrequented soporific plenitudinal rusticity, waggling parabolic pointilism, dihedral Russophobic precession, harmonious regenerative inflexion, robust precipitable nasturtium, and predominant cogitative scapuloclavicular valiancy that I simply say "thank you." What more can I say? -except that I'm sincerely honored by all your kind words. Spaw, you outdid yourself. That was just too hilarious! Even before I read your post, I saw a blue cloud wafting under the door into my place - I knew you had sent me a special "message." Thank you all. What a great place this Mudcatville is! -chanteyranger
