I wouldn't do that to Art T. I've heard him in person several times, and have 3 or 4 of his records.

Guest#1,

Every Thansgiving they still make me sit at the kids table. I'll be 60 soon and I'm sick of it.

Art,that's because the kids love you and you can keep them in line........but I know what you mean. I thought maybe this was about Art's poker table, or blackjack. On second thought, my hero Art T. wouldn't do that, would he? (grin)

When you're milking a cow and are merely awkward you only get a tail slapped across your face. But it you pinch too hard you get that hind leg kick.

Aye, Bob,
Grand connecting. Bloomington it was--so very long ago (or so it seems).

Folks, this is one of the more amazing voices I've ever heard. Bob, was it ECLECTRICITY ? You and Miriam & Bill? "Hoosier Girl" is a great song I've always thought.

All the best to you, sir.

Art Thieme

Yes, Eclectricity it was. Thanks for the kind words my friend. I am working and living in Ohio now and have for the last 15 years or so. I work in theater making songs for sort of a story telling singing telling company called Mad River Theater Works. We been doing around 225 shows a year. We write a new show every year based on folklore, tall tales, historical fact and some dern good lies. Been doing alot of traveling too. I's wondering where you shack up these days so if we get close I could get up witcha.

Anyhoo, do you know the story of the cowboy and the hind lick maneuver?

I love the way you tell a tale.

All the best to you my friend,

Bob Lucas
