10 Apr 01 - 01:19 PM (#437424) Subject: Good Friday bicycle ride, Mobberley From: John J If you fancy a bicycle ride, a few beers, some singing, and loads of fun: meet at the Bleeding Wolf, Hale, at 11am (11.05am absolute latest), or The Plough & Flail, Mobberley at 12noon (12.10 absolute latest) this Good Friday morning. Don't forget your bicycle, sense of humour, voice and beer money. Most usually bring butties rather than queue for expensive (and not very good) pub grub. John |

10 Apr 01 - 01:25 PM (#437429) Subject: RE: Good Friday bicycle ride, Mobberley From: Ringer Haven't been in the Bleeding Wolf, Hale, for many years. We used to visit it on Friday evenings after Hale Folk Dance meetings. Hale Folk Dance club now meets as The Lemmings Reprieve, I believe. Caller/organiser is Andrew Shaw, one of the best callers there is. |
