UK : Gosport Festival : anyone else? (2001)

Hiya

Anyone else going to Gosport & Fareham Easter Festival this year?
12-16th April.
Its a really nice festival to start the year off. There is an area for caravans/camper vans, but other than that you'd have to get B&B or use the nearest commercial campsite. We'll be using the campsite this year - I think its about 5 miles out of town - so its not the most convenient thing in the world - but this festival is definitely worth it.
Ticket price goes up after the end of this month (feb) - so its worth thinking about now. Also, if you are a Folk on Tap magazine subscriber I think there is a further discount for early booking - taking the price down to about £45 each.

Hiya
We're going to Gosport & Fareham Festival this weekend.
Will be camping this year (on a site near Fareham).
Anyone else going?

Kris

As I live in Gosport, I would dearly love to be there, but the deity that takes a great delight in messing my life up has ensured I am overseas for the festival, again.

Enjoy :)

Did indeed enjoy. There were some superb bands - especially the Finnish band Gjallarhorn.
You can hear some audio & see some video at
