I've heard that Sarah Lee Guthrie, Arlo's daughter/Woody's granddaughter, is carrying on the family tradition of folksinging.

Does anyone have any info? Is she good?

Thanks.

Callie

On one of the Arlo Guthrie/Pete Seeger in concert tapes she sings (most beautifully I might add) Seeger's Sailing Down This Golden River......

Saw her in Fargo with Arlo a couple years ago. She is a very attractive young woman with a very nice voice (maybe some DNA testing is in order). She performs in a trio with two males, one of which is her husband.

Sarah Lee Guthrie has a trio called RIG with Johnny Irion (her husband) and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger (Pete's grandson). I'm looking forward to hearing them at the Champlain Valley Folk Festival in Vermont in early August.

Tedham Porterhouse,

You're in for a treat: they played at the Woody fest in Okemah, OK last year -- wow!
