Does anyone know if it has a tune, or if not, could someone put a tune to it? 23 Apr 01 - 04:45 AM (#447151) Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Add: Anzac Day song or poem From: Gervase Cicely Fox Smith was primarily a poet, so I'd imagine any tune would be a later composition - like her "Home, Lads Home," for which the tune was written by Sarah Morgan, or many of her seafaring poems, for which Dave Webber has written some great tunes. As an aside, I'm keen to hear from anyone who has any further info on this remarkable woman or knows where source material can be found as I'm hoping to write a piece on her. |
