Gamble Rogers Folk Festival

Guy Clark, Laurie Lewis, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, David Holt, Small Pototoes...and even my band (The Ashley Gang)...Friday night, Saturday and Sunday (this weekend). St. Augustine Amphitheatre on A-1-A in historic St. Augustine. That's right across the street from the Alligator Farm and absolutely no naked statues of David...Should be a great time if you're in the southeast U.S.

You can check out the Gamble Rogers Festival at: www.gamblefest.com It is always the first weekend in May and is always great. Besides MANY talented Florida people, Gove Scrivenor will also be there this year. I believe he's been out of circulation for a while. By the way, Gamble will have been gone for 10 years this October! If you like to witness the joyous celebration of a life well-lived, you should join us.

DacingMom, Thanks for giving me a contact for Page Wilson on another thread! Out of the Blue. I used to know him playing around Virginia in the 70s. What a voice! I'll bother him today.

Page has a great CD out called "bridge of love" but I'm sure he'll give 'er a plug if you call him. But it's GOOD stuff.
