07 May 01 - 02:36 PM (#457146) Subject: skivee sent me From: GUEST,martha Skivee told me about his discussion group. Since Sept. 2000 i have been seeking the name of a song i heard played once on the radio in the Wash, DC area: the Traditions show, by Mary Cliff. She kept no playlist, can't help me. Can you? Beautiful ballad-type song. Male & female voices i think, not sure. Not sure about instruments either. A repeating(?) line: "we will throw our troubles into the air and the wind will blow them all away like barley in the wind." Mary Cliff mentioned both Battlefield Band and Steeleye Span, but i don't think so. would be so grateful to anyone with any info on this. the song played at 10:30 PM EST on Saturday night 9/16/2000. thanks! |
