10 May 01 - 04:16 AM (#459347) Subject: Poems/Songs about Mudcat? From: Dave the Gnome I have been doing some Kipling stuff recently and something struck me the last night. The first half of the last verse of 'If' seems particulary suitable for Mudcat. I will not post all the words here as they may already be in the DT - if not they are in tons of other places. I have given the relevant bit below -
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue
How can we talk with a bigger crowd than Mudcat? My thoughts anyway:-) Can anyone else think of any suitable, poignant, pithy or downright disgraceful stuff??? Cheers Dave the Gnome |

Have the scars from the op healed yet?;-) Good stuff from Eric as well but I was thinking more along the lines of existing stuff that is apt rather than penned specificaly for the 'cat. Perhaps we can have a 'worst tenuous link' contest at the Jug??? See ya there DtG |

Trouble is our overstretched police would rather arrest someone for selling bananananananananas (Ok - I never know when to finish) in pounds than find a mugger who has just beat up an 80 year old lady... Oh, stop it. This ain't serious (is it?) Alex - just try thieving cheese by the ounce and see what happens;-) DtG |
