From: Nancy King According to Dirty Linen's website, Paxton will be at the Champlain Valley Folk Festival, August 4-5 in Burlington, VT. Don't know if that fits into your driving-time scenario -- it very well might -- but even if it's a bit longer it would be a very beautiful drive through the White Mountains. Also other ideas may keep coming in. Here's a link Tom Paxton's posted schedule at Musi-Cal, where other bookings may turn up in the time period you mentioned, and where you can also look up others you might like to see while here: If you join Mudcat you get a personal messaging page to swap messages with other Mudcatters and this would mean that people can invite you to hook up with them while you are over here or otherwise let you know about possible folk activities.
