Through much historical reading, I am bound to say that...... I am SCOTTISH first and foremost, by heritage and passion.... I am EUROPEAN by placement and geography.... I am British by history and politics.... Bearing in mind, our "national anthem" contains the lines "rebellious Scots to quell", why should I associate myself with the nation of "The United Kingdom"? Answers to the above....... signed..... confused and feeling "northern". |
