From: Mark Cohen My just about ex-wife tried out for the Volcano Community Theatre's production of Finian's Rainbow with that song. I accompanied her on piano (very inexpertly) many many many times as she was rehearsing. She had a great voice, but she didn't get the part. So, yes, I know it! It's an interesting show....social commentary on Broadway. I'm not crazy about most of the music, but I do like that song, even after all those rehearsals. Aloha, Mark |
