23 May 01 - 04:32 AM (#468490) Subject: What are FORUMS for From: GUEST,Bussman I thought the idea of a forum was to discuss anything? - I notice some people here moaning about some of the posts. Surely, you do not have to read them if you do not want to. I have read many posts here, and on other forums, from people talking about other artists or music websites leaving links for people to follow. This is how the WWW grows into a sharing community - so why do people complain? or call it SPAM - we all have a choice, either read the messages or not. |

I didn't mind the first post in that thread at all (well, I did mind the style, but that's only a minor complaint). It was an information that might have been interesting even if only for a minority. But I did mind the refreshing of the thread by the same person inventing different names each time (that's how it looked to me) and was glad Max called it what it was. And being a suspicious person, I think you are still the same person this time using another invented name. I prefer people using consistent names in a Forum and not to repost and repost when there has been no response. Wolfgang |
