NB: for future reference: if you post a note over on help.mudcat.org they will fix the threads, and it won't clutter up the Cafe.

Didn't know there was a help forum, and posting here got results...

How can this possibly be called clutter when this place tollerates the most spam of any MB on the net?!?!?!?!

I think it stands for "Message Board" - which technically the forum isn't.

Oh yes it is!!!

This is a message board, plain and simple, just like millions of others on the net...

Don't give it more credit than it's worth, just because you like it...

I said for future reference, didn't I? Some people are just a LITTLE touchy.

Perhaps another way to put it would be, if you post problems that require action from Joe or one of the Clones, your request will probably recieve attention faster if it is posted to the help forum. This is because Joe and the Clones watch that forum pretty carefully.

Clinton, here is one reason:

Some of us clones check in the Help forum fairly regularly when on line but only scan the Main forum and pick on reading what we fancy reading as and when. So if it's posted in the Help forum, it stands a greater chance of getting spotted and acted upon quickly.

Jon

(who saw the problem had been reported by MMario and that it had been fixed long before discovering this thread).

That, Joe, makes a whole lot of sence... Especially in light of the 'clutter' comment above...

Read ya 5 X 5 Joe...

;-)

see folks... plain simple reasoning... Is that too much to ask?
