Billy Elliot video from my stepson and a musical clef broach from my pal Hazel. More pleasantly, I went to the session at the Sun Inn Beverley which was run by Roger of Beverley (rather grand Mudcat title Rog!) and that was a hoot! |

I have lots in my garden, which has mainly evergreens and shrubs because I can't be bothered with herbaceous planting (all that tiresome sitting in the deckchair instructing my husband to weed and dig holes wears me out!) I do have a lovely clematis climbing the conservatory wall and I am very fond of a bit of winter jasmine and honeysuckle. Can't stand roses or tulips but there ya go. Of an evening we sit out in the candlelight, listening to the police sirens in the distance and pondering where they'll dig the next grave in the cemetery which is just over the fence - ain't summer grand? |
