BS: Dougie MacLean's Pub in Dunkeld

As it was a holiday weekend here in UK, went off with fambly for a couple of days camping. Found nice campsite at Inver, by Dunkeld. On Sunday evening wandered over to Dougie Maclean's Taybank Hotel, and had a fine session playing and singing. Mr MacLean was in residence and joined in himself, playing fiddle fine-style. Nice guy, too.

If anyone is in the vicinity, I'd recommend a visit.

Dunkeld is beautiful, and the Taybank is genuinely welcoming, with plenty of loan instruments too.

Anyone else visited?

Cheers

I often go up Scabby doug, A very well organised place Although I wouldn't be as fond of the Taybank as you I'd imagine. A good place to organise a session though.

Never been, but I've heard other glowing reports like yours...

One day I may just have to move in there!
