Cat Concert 24: Utah Phillips

Ha. Got your attention that time, didn't I? Well, the Golden voice of the great southwest won't be present, but his songs will, as Francy (Frank from Toledo) and Bigchuck will present an hour or so of his songs on Sunday, June 10, at 4:00PM Mudcat time (EDT). The concert may be heard in the Mudcat Concert room on Paltalk (remember to check the show adult rooms box), which is no longer password protected. Hope to see many of you there.
Sandy

For this one, I will reinstall Paltalk.
SINSULL, shaking with fear and anticipation.

Is it limited to ten attendees?

GOOD Idea, Brett, maybe I will. Sinsull, I have made the room an open one so that no password is needed and there is no number limit.

Sins, he is in Oregon. I asked if that was what you meant, in the room,(either that or had he lost sound, at the time it wasn't clear) but I guess you didn't see that.:-)

Sorry I had to leave early guys. What I heard was just wonderful. I, too, really enjoyed hearing the autoharp, Frank!

Super job and THANKS!!

bigchuck, Utah would like this "hook", I saw him last month and one of his stories involved his advice to a panhandler, to develope some kind of a hook, to not just ask for spare change, but to evolve some "medium of exchange"... he then told of a panhandler who approached people with the plan that if they would loan him a dollar...he could tightly wrap it... insert it into his left nostril and pull it back out of his right nostril.... Well, as luck would have it, after a few clumsy attempts, he couldn't complete the trick... and "tried to return the dollar"...

Last time I saw Utah in concert he told of one panhandler who would approach a family with young children and throw together a balloon dog. Then he would take a straight pin and announce that the dog would die if they didn't buy its freedom.
