Hello everyone. I just thought I'd let you know that I've posted the first (under construction) version of my website www.theballadeers.com

I hope you check it out and like it.

Nick

Nick, it looks like it is and will be a fine site.

Some thoughts--

1. I sure hope you will feature Seamus Kennedy. If you need information, contact me!

2. I REALLY hope you will add a link to Mudcat, and say more about what we do and have here, in terms of lyrics, music scholarship, and discussion.

3. If you are planning to add a discussion forum, I hope you will approach Max about acquiring the format we use here, which is the best in the world. And if not, I would hope you would work with him to develop a way to link people from here to your page, and vice versa, so that your site's visitors have a place to discuss the wonderful things you will have at your site. I am just a member here, not part of Max's staff, but if there are things to dream up about ways of working together, site-to-site, I would be very interested in corresponding with you.

Clickie for the Balladeers site. Click on the title Balladeers to get to the goodies. Best viewed at 800 x 600. I keep mine set at 640 x 480 so I can read the small print, so I had to keep moving the bottom scroll bar to read it. Other than that, I like it!

Easy way around that problem (of having to use the bottom scroll bar...

Set your picture and size values based on percentage of pixels on screen, rather than absolute values. I use it, and while it does require more attention be used on indentations, it also keeps everything on screen.

My two cents...
