Enjoy! ~b.w. |

I will go back and search for a recent thread in this regard. Back soon, I hope. By the way, BW, as far as I am concerned, E Canada ends PQ. You Uppity Canadians don't know where the Appalacians are, do you ? |

11 Jun 01 - 03:39 PM (#481024) Subject: RE: crossing the pond From: gnu For those who don't know, the northern part of the Appalacian Mountains kinda separate New Brunswick from Quebec (PQ). Pre-province day, there was Upper (hence, Uppity) Canada (ONT & PQ) and Lower Canada (The Maritimes). We don't actually think Upper Canadians are uppity... we're just Maritimers and like to tease. Hell, we'd save their ass again, if they needed us. Like the time that we marched the Madawaska Snow Road to save their ass from invasion, or when we built the railroad out of reach of the yanks, or when we funded their economic development with our fish and forestry, or when we... Maritimers know that our Ontario and other western brothers don't really mean things like, "Let the Eastern bastards freeze in the dark." (during the oil crisis). We know they're just teasing.
