From: wysiwyg I think they don't have enough for him there at SVU, and that Munch ought to be spun off to be a private investigator where he can hold nice chats with clients and others he encounters. And he could do a narration, too, that would be a riot, like old B&W movies and '40's detective fiction. He doesn't seem to bounce well off the rest of the SVU cast. ~S~ |

He was perfect with the Homicide cast...SVU he's like the odd man out. In Homicide he had better lines too! "Don't talk to me like I'm Montel Williams! Do I look like Montel Williams? I AM NOT MONTEL WILLIAMS!!!" and "We know you did it. You're a lying liar. You're nothing more than a lying piece of detritus!". |

I feared he'd totally disappear back into standup when Homicide wrapped up, because he is so idiosyncratic. Pairing him with Ice-T is a good plan as they both have the potential to do something original, but the writing just isn't there yet. I love the idea of Munch, PI. |
