16 Jun 01 - 08:30 PM (#485197) Subject: Liland's Profile [preview] From: Haruo I'm in the process of preparing a Mudcat Profile to submit to Pene Azul. The current (very much unfinished, though what's left to do is more pruning and training than addition) version is at http://www.geocities.com/lilandr/lbr/mudcat/mudcat3.html and I eagerly encourage perusal, comments and suggestions. I posted this to the other thread... Interesting profile, Liland. Nicely put together, too. |

As for its being "nicely put together", though, I'm afraid I may have to defer most of the credit to the account of whoever designed the Profile format; I just took Sorcha's and mousethief's Profiles and followed their lead; the only real change was eliminating "ICQ" since I don't have it. I could have eliminated "AIM" too on the same grounds, but I decided to pun instead. Liland |

In that way people can just get straight to your music, interest in languages or background; then later look at the other sections. I suppose its like meeting people for the first time I don't tell them everything in one go, especially about my interest in entomology lest they start to yawn or run for the door (its one of the things I am interested in but its not who I am) (Door Closes loudly as Liland leaves)......are you still there?.........knew I shouldn't have mentioned the insect thing I loved the music playing over the page Liland and I looked at one of the links which was to a very interesting and well written page. |
