Nothing elaborate - just a notebook with a pen or pencil attached. There was a picnic table behind the booth last year. Sandy - could we leave a mudcat notebook there? |

21 Jun 01 - 09:21 PM (#489349) Subject: RE: Old Songs: YES! Parti le Troisieme From: AllisonA(Animaterra) LOL Charlie! And the correct response to that is, "Oh, any parrot, bless you all!" I first "met" Flora Post when I was a little younger than the age she supposedly was in Cold Comfort Farm. It's still one of my favorites. |

23 Jun 01 - 04:13 PM (#490489) Subject: RE: Old Songs: YES! Parti le Troisieme From: Charley Noble Hopefully, Sins, your kitten is having a "litter" not a "letter" but then maybe she's literate like some of the other Mudcat cats. Sorry to hear that Old Songs didn't work out for you. It really is a much nicer experience when it's not an ordeal. |
23 Jun 01 - 08:18 PM (#490623) Subject: RE: Old Songs: YES! Parti le Troisieme From: SINSULL Thanks Charley. I would be better off if she were having a letter. I took in a little bitty stray who was being abused by some kids on the street. A neighbor rescued her but couldn't keep her because she raises birds and Alice got into the babies and scared them half to death. Even my vet didn't realize she was pregnant. Poor thing is so tiny except for her middle. She's not full grown yet herself. Do I sound like a nervous Nellie? Cats have litters on the street all the time without a problem - my current mantra. Marymac,my nephew is coming tomorrow to finish moving out. When he heard was home after all, he made plans. Sorry. But I will be at the Getaway. |
23 Jun 01 - 10:13 PM (#490655) Subject: RE: Old Songs: YES! Parti le Troisieme From: GUEST Sinsull, NEXT time we will have to plan ahead! I'm beginning to think I'm ready to give up camping! And it really does help motivate me if I plan to give someone a ride, or go with them. I think one difficult thing for me is the transition--just getting myself packed up, OUT of my apartment, and on the road! I did get my tent and sleeping bag into my car, and now I think I'll leave 'em there! So now I'm thinking about a longer trip later this summer, first to Falcon Ridge, in the Berkshires, and then to Champlain Valley, in Burlington, with visiting friends and mudcatters in between. Just leave home once, then keep on going! Marymac |
