20 Jun 01 - 02:02 PM (#488071) Subject: SCA'rs... The Axe Of Tarbainwield? From: Clinton Hammond I was reminded about this by the recent thread about the SCA... Many many moons ago some chums of mine came back from Pensic with a tape of a guy playing his own ballads... these had been recorded onsite or something... Suffice to say I really loved these things... There's 2 nice long epics and a couple of shorter pieces... One is about The Axe Of Tarbainwield and a fair fighter who avenges the death of an elf maiden he meets on the road to war... The other one is a tale of Cibrian Of the Wheel how he earned his knighthood by defending his fallen King in a melee... the last one is a goofy little song, Not To worry Mother I'm Just Goin' Off To War... Anybody ever heard of these? Know who did them? Can point me towards him? Or point me to a place that might be better to start looking??? Otherwise I'm gonna start claiming them as my own!! LOL!!!!! {~` |
