I have a kind of emotional feel, but can't recall any lyrics at all other than Ooooh, hurry sundown, which I think was the name of a horse. ??? Help? I think the woman is in trouble and the man is saving her, but who knows, I have no brain today. There is blood in the sky in my "visual" if you want to call something that vague a visual. Also, who does it, thanks? |

I'm trying to think if I remember anything else. There might have been a tambourine... which is why I'm thinking gypsies... somehow I've gone off on the Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves, but it isn't that at all. It's a love story, I think. And I'm almost positive that Sundown is a horse. |

Who lies in Boot Hill - if it's the dead gypsy woman, why was she buried there, I thought it was for men who "died with their boots on" (ie by gun violence). I also thought it was metaphorical, but apparently it's in, and maybe this is why, Tombstone Arizona. Cowboy song fanciers care to explain? |
