I have heard it sung here in the north of Ireland. I am almost sure it is called"Jim the Carter Lad". Slan Ard Mhacha. |

Good on you, you`ll never believe it but this sing was sung by an old friend long since gone.He was always asked to give it a belt when we travelled on our Gaelic Football away games, it was more to please him than listen to the song. Still it brings back happy memories and oul DB smiling all over his face as he became the star of the show. Now how this song made its way across to the north of Ireland is a mystery. Thanks again Ian and let us lay down the pitchforks. Slan Ard Mhacha. |
