I noticed Cabbage Medley as an item on the menu at our work canteen today.

If a medley of hornpipes is a breakdown, is a medley of cabbages a Boildown?

Boildown ? Reminds me of the "old-time" tune "Boil That Cabbage Down, Boys". Understand boiling cabbage was/is a tactic used by moonshiners to mask the sweet aroma of their "other" cooking.
