Darn, sorry I missed it, too. Could you give us an advance warning next time?

Brían.

mag, PST - Is that GMT+8?

I'm just being akward - most of us, even those like me in the UK have got used to using Mudcat time or EST (I forget about the daylight saving name changes if they exist) but I find anything else confusing.

Since my insomnia got better, PalTalk has become a fading memory! 23.56 GMT is a tad late for us UK working drones, other than on Friday or Saturday.

How about starting around 23.00 GMT (18.00 Mudcat) again?

Or have my mike-hogging habits made everyone move later to avoid me? Just 'cos you're paranoid, it doesn't mean no-one's out to get you!

I'm with you Alan .... I'm much more active in summer (walking, gardening etc) so go to bed that much earlier. I really would like some early sessions.

Alison - Are you still opening Celtic Friends ? -- I lost track of you when the hour went on.

Yes- wasn't open very long, sorry. Thought some other-than-UK people might join us to keep it open, but didn't seem to be many people around. (Wasn't me who opened it btw- I just posted the thread.)

PST is U.S. Pacific time; EST plus 3. I'm too left-right challenged to figure out what that is GMT. (In the library I hand people the almanac and say, do the math yourself, on those questions.)

There aren't too many times that are really convenient for everyone. For example, 1800 EST is 1600 where I am, and my employer tends to think I should still be there (on Fridays, anyway). I usually don't get on-line until 1800 MST or later, and you folks on the 00 GMT line have mostly crashed. For me, even a little, occasional, live on-line music (and Noreen and Alison's sparkling reparte') is better then none. Keep trying.
