Help: Test post

14 Jul 01 - 06:02 AM (#506271)
Subject: Test post
From: Michael in Swansea

I've just added to the Mick Tems - Calennig thread to say I heard last night that he has feeling in his left foot and the thread didn't return to the main forum. I checked on both www. and loki.
This is a test to see if it appears in the forum.

I'm now logged into ragtime. On my pc both www. and loki. are locked up. The last post on www. was 4.27 and loki 5.25.
Suggestions?

Mike

Sorry I'm not much help, I'm still a bit new here myself but have you tried the help forum?

Michael, the problem has either cleared or exists your end, perhaps with your ISP.

Currenly, www/shorty, loki and ragtime are working. dharma appears to be down.

1.) In 400 words or less, summarize the history of the African Thumb Piano.

2.) Arrange "Night on Bald Mountain", using only a tuning fork for instrumentation. For half credit, you may also include kazoo harmony arrangement.

3.) Explain the proper uses of a low D pennywhistle beyond whacking snoring audience members.

4.) A train with 3 musicians from a ceilidh band leaves New York headed for Dubuque at 3:45 a.m. headed east at 45mph. At the same time, 2 members of a square dance call team leave Dubuque in an airplane, bound for New York. Explain in detail what time they cross in their travels, as well as how folk musicians could have afforded tickets for either mode of transportation. Work must be shown.
