Did my 3rd annual Whitman Mission gig today (and tomorrow), stories, traditional songs, and play-party games. This is good for introducing very basic circle dance moves, and you don't have to even call it that. As I found it, it goes:
Circle to the left, old brass wagon Obviously I dress it up, explain about 8 measure units. Circle to the right ... I suppose if anybody wants the (very simple) tune in a midifile, I could try and learn that next ... 'course I did Clementine, Sweet Betsy. Old Dan Tucker, Old Joe Clark, and other things this wonderful and supportive group suggested last year. Love you all. (and watch out for that Friday 13th stuff.) |
