greetings! Okay - let's just get it over with all at once, shall we? Name? Rank? Instruments? singing range? Favorite tipple? Favorite song? favorite condom? Do you own any volumes of Child's Ballads? Bronson? Can you create midi's, scan sheet music or transcribe by ear and how much free time do you have to surf the net? Do you have any cats, and if not, would you like a kitten?

Drop into the Tavern and have a round!

John, fairly (depending on the weather), Scottish Small Pipes Highland Pipes Whistle Guitar, painful, Black Sheep ale, Crazy Man Michael, no child's Ballands or Bronson, can't create midi's or scan or transcribe - can bearly read music but I've got a good ear and occasionally lots. I like cats but they make me sneeze!

HOLEE COW Smallpiper! Now don't let MMario scare the beejeezus out of you...you don't have to reveal that "condom info". That's strictly on a "need to know basis" and he DOESN'T!

...and personally I favour the Tipples built by Martin in the thirties and Bronson was at his best in "The Dirty Dozen".

Cats ARE a requirement however.

Welcome....we DO have our moments here!

Rick

Well smallpiper.........Ya' see, condoms are a kinda' icon around here, along with tiples, Cleigh O'Possum, and assorted other characters and things, the latest being the "Little Pissant" and his Golden Shower Award. Rest assured, you will find some sanity here, but it's not coming from me or most of the other dimbulbs on this thread. Things get strange like when the guy up there named Rick Fielding, a Canadian by way of explanation, sent his three half brothers, all named Reg, down here to live with me, Paw, Cletus, and Buford.

After awhile, the above paragraph will make sense to you and you'll be a real 'Catter and ready for an extended stay at the Neil Young Center for the Terminally Screwed, and pretty well unfit to live in polite society.

Welcome to the 'Cat!!!

Another Mudcatter from Hull? What IS going on around here? Do you realize if the Mudcat Forum were a true majority-rules society those from Hull could take over the entire site? Frightening!
Welcome from sunny southern California! Hey, my husband also played the Scottish small pipes when he owned a set. I'll have to ask him if he has any favorite CDs he could recommend to you. Please feel free to do the same for us!

Karen; 'what's going on around here?' Well that's the point, it's all going on around *here* in the City and County of Kingston upon Hull (and those surrounding areas which will soon be subsumed thereto.) You're right, Ickle; the plans are going well!

It seems that some silly bugger has introduced the computer into Hull. It looks like they are playing with it like a kid with a new toy. It won't last long though, with the rate of coastal erosion going on Hull will soon be under the North Sea and the Jug will be a seaside pub.

A Grand "Hello" to you, smallpiper! Glad you have joined in this strange, but weird, group of humanity(?).

What brand condom was that?

From: catspaw49

Before you answer the Mississippi question asked above, let me point out something. Brother khandu is from Mississippi and you'll note that he can't even spell his own name. However, he does hail from a state where he can get you bedsheets and pillow cases at a reduced price.......Sorry, white only and the pillowcases have two holes in them, but they are cheap. Ask about the used ones too as they are one helluva' bargain and you can barely smell the kerosene aroma.

Love you too Bro.....And those of us who are Ohio natives generally say "Uh-hines." The state is AHIA.....We don't seem to do O's here. True story:

The Ohio Sate Marching Band is well known for their signature "Script Ohio" where the drum major acts as a pencil and leads the band through a writing of the word Ohio on the field. I gotta' admit, it is kinda' neat. One year, about 25-30 back or so, as a joke, they spelled "Ahia".......didn't go over real well and the director at the time, Paul Droste, had no idea it was going to happen. Best thing was, it was a nationally televised game!
