28 Jul 01 - 07:49 PM (#516842) Subject: RE: New man in Suffolk From: Skipjack K8 You're a lucky man, Martin, moving just north of God's own Essex coast. I'm on the north bank of the River Blackwater at the mo', but I live up in North Lincs near Mudcat Central ('Ull). I was in the Maybush in Waldringfield on Friday lunch. Don't know much about the Suffolk scene, 'ceptin the Merry Fiddlers, who meet weekly south of Sudbury, but Colchester Folk Club puts on the top=line names regularly, and there are some good sessions in mid-Essex (Chelmsford area). Do you do boats, too? Skipjack (who's been boatin' today) |
