You're a lucky man, Martin, moving just north of God's own Essex coast. I'm on the north bank of the River Blackwater at the mo', but I live up in North Lincs near Mudcat Central ('Ull). I was in the Maybush in Waldringfield on Friday lunch.

Don't know much about the Suffolk scene, 'ceptin the Merry Fiddlers, who meet weekly south of Sudbury, but Colchester Folk Club puts on the top=line names regularly, and there are some good sessions in mid-Essex (Chelmsford area).

Do you do boats, too?

Skipjack (who's been boatin' today)

There is (was?) a guy working in (Fizers in) Ipswich who had a list - through him I found the East Suffolk Morris, also in Ipswich. I will try and dig out the info, but it may take some time.

There used to be a very good session on Tuesdays at the Low House at Laxfield (known to those outside the area as the King's Head) - one of my all-time top 10 pubs.

Martin ...

I'll refresh this for you for a few days. I know you might not get a chance to check it out till you get back from London.

Take care.

Refreshed for you again Martin.

I'm off on holiday after today ... so I hope you get a chance to check it out before it drops off the end again. I take it you probably haven't got your head around the age filters and other searches yet!
