Lyr Req: sad was the news ... to Lake Ainslie

I'm looking for the words to a Cape breton folk song that I heard in my youth because I can't remember all of it.

It begins something like this:

Sad was the news that they brought to Lake Ainslie
Sad was the news and the message they brung
Poor (Sally ______) was a dying in Boston, boys,
Dying in Boston, given over for dead.

Has anyone ever heard of it or better yet do you know the full version. I would be eternally grateful for it is a fine song and one that I's lkke to have in my repetoire.

Ewan "Sudsy" Clark

I can't say that I ever heard this song but I would like to have it as well. Stanley Collins wrote many songs about the Lake Ainslie area and I thought it may have been one of his, but I called his folk-singing son and he did not know it but said it wasn't one of his father's.
Sorry but not much help.
