31 Jul 01 - 10:24 PM (#518779) Subject: BUNAC From: artbrooks Daughter is graduating from college this December and is seriously considering working in the UK for 4-6 months. Her plan is to get a job and make living arrangements through an organization called BUNAC. Their website is impressive enough, but do any of you UK Mudcatters (or anyone else) know anything about these people? |

A goodly number of their students attend Queens in Belfast so English organizations would be looked at. I'll email her that you might contact her. > |

They are also very helpful in helping obtain affordable airfare and other travel stuff. Have not looked into them in years but I woudl imagine they are still going strong... Peg

01 Aug 01 - 05:18 AM (#518885) Subject: RE: Help: BUNAC From: Lyndi-loo I work in a College library and several of our students have used Bunac for a year out (from Scotland to various parts of the world) and enjoyed it. I have lots of literature on Bunac, but nothing that isn't on the website, I guess. I think she should go for it! |
