The secret service guys thought it may be a remote controlled bomb or a Russian agent or something, leapt in after him and wrestled him to the bank, just in case. The rest of the chorus goes 'for the bunny might be cwazy and he'll gwab me by da fwoat, in my wittle wow boat on the pond.' The chorus is the same; but Guthrie sang a different conclusion to the third and final verse: "... Jimmy was a hero, felt it in his bones/ Said in the words of John Paul Jones: I DON'T WANT A BUNNY WUNNY . . ." |
