Lyr Req: Guess How I Feel (Sometimes)

I used to sing a song in assembly at Junior School called "Guess How I Feel". I can remember the first couple of lines but that's it. Can anybody help?

The first lines are as follows:-

    Guess how I feel, sometimes,
    Nothing is real, sometimes"
but after that it's a blank. I'm wanting to learn it for next year's festival season. HELP!!!!

Here's some I remember:

Guess how I feel, sometimes
Nothing is real, sometimes
.....
Everyone's walking in dreams,
We've all become strange machines.

Chorus:
But then I
Look in the sky -
Tell all the clouds to pass on by.
The sun will be there even if you can't see it.
Always be there - I can guarantee it
[Every time]

haha i remember singing this!

it was from the 'come and praise' books from the bbc.

only other line i remember is some of the verse:
"nothing is quite as it seems"

...perhaps!

still relevant words as an adult!

'Know what I think, sometimes, I've lost the link, sometimes'

Hmmm. This page says it's in a songbook titled Together Again, by Kate Stickings and Millie Taylor.
The song is titled "Sometimes," and was written by David Stoll. The "Together" songbook series was apparently published by the Girl Guides, or often used by the Girl Guides. The covers of the books appear to be white bathroom floor tile, with a white-centered red rectangle of tiles in the center.

I found a web site for a British composer named David Stoll whose biography makes it seem he is likely the songwriter, but I can't find any reference there to a song called SOMETIMES.

Lol, i'm a teacher now and even though I teach secondary, I tought of this song when planning a lesson on Managing Feelings and Self-Awareness which has brought me on to this forum.

I remember every word;

GUESS HOW I FEEL
(David Stoll)

Guess how i feeel, sometimes
Nothing is real, sometimes
Everyone's living in dreams.

Know what I think, sometimes,
I've lost the link, sometimes.
Nothing makes sense so it seems,
we've all become strange machines

Bute then I...
Look in the sky
Tell all the clouds to pass on by
The Sun will be there even if you can't see it
Always be there I can guarantee it

How about you, sometimes
Are you lost too? Sometimes
Caught up in round-about schemes.

Give this a try, sometimes
Set your sights high, sometimes
Simply try changing the scene
I'm sure you know what I mean

But then I....

repeat chorus.

I am 29 now but remember every word. Its a song that stuck cos I remember it feeling like such a grown-up song and it stood out from all the other jolly songs. I'd love to find an instrumental and play it with my class.

:o)

Is there an audio of it anywhere on the internet, I loved it as a child and want my wife to hear it?
