Hi Bob Jr.;
The version I have is called RED ROSY BUSH. The lyrics seem to be the same as you posted:

I wish I was a red rosy bush,
On a bank beside the sea,
And every time my love walked by,
She would pick a rose, off of me.

I wish I had a golden box,
To keep my true love in,
I'd take her out and I'd kiss her twice,
Then (and) put her right back again.

If I lived in some lonesome holler,
Where the sun would never shine,
If my love loves another,
Then she'll never be mine.

I've sung that song for years and can't recall where I first heard it. Anywhat that's the way I wrote it down and the way I sing it.
Good luck!
ZnT
