08 Aug 01 - 01:43 PM (#523648) Subject: MudGuard on the (UK) Road again From: MudGuard One more day of work, then I and my bicycle will be on the road again. Friday around 1pm I will land in Stansted, from there I will head more or less due west till I hit the coast and will go along it to Land's End, then back along the south coast and back to Stansted from where I leave on September 2nd. According to my map the following counties will be included in my plans: Cornwall, Devonshire, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire If anyone living in this area is interested in meeting me (for a pint at the pub), please send me a Private Message with your phone number. I promise not to give it to anyone else or to use it for anything else than arranging a meeting - there will be no spam from me ;-) I do not have any fix plans on where I will be at a certain date - except arrival and departure. Any meeting therefore has to be arranged at short notice - no, I won't hold any grudge against anyone who can't meet me ;-) Looking forward to my holiday... Sorry for the late announcement but I had lots of work to finish before leaving. MudGuard |

Sorry it's a bit far for us to meet up, but I'm sure there'll be lots of softie southerners ready to buy you a pint, if they're not all away on holiday themselves. If you're travelling that way I have a sister in Bath... :0) Noreen |

Hope you'll be enjoying yourself, meeting many Mudcatters, and the rain won't be too bad. I'm beginning to think it wasn't the most felicitous of decisions not to go to Britain this year. I'm beginning to feel homesick ... All the best to everybody, especially to the Muenster crew. |

The dentist I work for rides with the bike club I once belonged to, and he keeps his bike in my office. If you ever want to tour around the states, I can put you in touch with folks who could help you plan your trip. Good riding! Marymac |
