"underatted" - I think that'd mean he was sitting on a rat...

It's "underrated" when it's people not realizing he's as good as he is.

Mister and I won tickets to see Arlo here in Nashville many years ago. Still ranks as one of my favorite shows. Does he still take people on cruises? Man, he would be a hoot to hang around with...

Just saw his daughter, Sarah Lee Guthrie, perform recently, with boyfriend Johnny Irion. They did a nice mix of trad and their own tunes. Her voice has grown very sweet.

He'll be performing at the Philladelphia Folk Festival August 25th. Sarah will be there also.

Arlo, plus Sarah, Johnny, and Tao Rodriguez (Pete Seeger's grandson)will be at the Philly Folk Festival this weekend.

In my mind, someone underratted would be forced to sit UNDER a rat.

I lived in a house once that wasn't underatted.................We had plenty of 'em!

Can't wait for Philly!

Dharmabum has it right - "underatted" implies a deficient quantity. There's little sense to getting out the stew pot for only one scrawny rat. But then, if you're really hungry ....

wouldn't we rather be underratted than overratted? Or not be ratted at all? depends on if you lke rat tarts...

My band had a chance to play on the same concert night as Arlo last year at Kentucky Music Weekend. Wonderful, personable man, although he couldn't remember when he had been to Lousiville last..as he said, "if you can remember the sixties, you weren't really there". Even got a pic of two of my band members singing with him for the encore :)
Unbelievable show, he had the audience right with him for the entire 90 minutes. His daughter joined him for the last few songs, all written by his father Woody, most excellent! DON'T Miss him!
