31 Aug 01 - 09:26 PM (#539395) Subject: RE: Moving through the Fair From: GUEST,AKRick Before Napster croaked, I got a couple dozen versions of this tune (in order to work out an arrangement of my own). My favorites are Sinead O'Connors w/ the Chieftains, and a beautiful accapella version from the Anne Briggs collection. By the way, I highly recommend the Briggs collection ... 22 tunes, only 4 with accompaniment. |
