Emboldened as I am... - Shankman Twins?

My unprecedented success in my last query has emboldened me to venture another . At the recent "Bluegrass" festival in Dunmore East , Co.Waterford, Ireland I heard an excellent Southern Californian Band called, "The Shankman Twins". Are they any way well known in Folk or Bluegrass circles Stateside? They had a very fine guitar player and also a virtuoso Mandolin player and the "twins" themselves played good banjo0 and fiddlebut were smashing singers . Their brother, Michael Alden , played double bass and also sang a few southern jazz songs from a much older reportoire, (older than he, that is). I had never heard of them , naturally, but they had excellent reviews from people like Ralph Stanley. I'd guess that they have been "on the road" for a few years now and , perhaps, are still waiting for that "lucky break". I hope they get it as they sounded, and looked, really good.

I never heard of them but apparently they are becoming quite popular. See Google Search results.
