I have a Charlie Lennon Fiddle instruction tape Irish Fiddle Techniuqes. It is recorded in the PAL VHS system. A system that works fine in Europe but not on American VCRs. Does anyone have the capability to copy this over into a format I can use? If I can get a copy of it I'll donate the original to the Auction. If I can't get a copy I'll donate to the auction anyway. Its a win win situation for the Cat in anycase. But then I'd settle for any basic Fiddle technique tape. This one is probably too advanced for me.

i can't help you with tranlating the format... but I've watched part of this and I think it's not really a great resource for a beginner. You might try to get the 1st Kevin Burke video- others might have suggestions for you

Sharon,

I agree, opening the case is too advanced for me. I was interested in the live performances on the tape as much as anything.
