One of the most moving versions Ive heard recently on this beautiful tune is by the marvellous harmonica player, Mick Kinsella from his new CD simply titled 'Harmonica' . You'll need the free "Scorch" browser plugin to see it, and to play the sound. The tune at JCs is from a Tyneside MS. of 1841, and seems to be a quite different one. |
