It's been really hard on all of us, but it occurred to me earlier tonight, how it would have been just a little more unbearable if we couldn't come here and have a little taste of kindness, of sanity (at Mudcat?), and just a place to share our burdens for a little while. Even last Tuesday as the day was progressing and I was listening to NPR at work, the thought of "I really need to get on line tonight and talk to the people on Mudcat..." surfaced a few times. It's been such a relief to come and visit. Thank you, sincerely, Rich Rayburg Of course, about 10 posts down, someone will write in, "Glad I could help. Your friend, Osama" or some other crack, but it's still been great to have this place. |
