I'm just writing to see if anyone knows of a site with the music to 'La Manfredina'? It sounds very like one of the Cantigas but in actual fact it's an Italian dance, or something. I rediscovered it today and I'm dying to find the sheet music! le grĂ¡, Erin |

19 Sep 01 - 02:46 PM (#554162) Subject: RE: Tune Req: La Manfredina From: dorareever There's a famous dance tune (with words as well) here in Northern Italy called "La Monferrina",is the same? I know both tune and words but don't know where to find a sheet music for it---just words if you're interested.Anyway "Monferrina" is a type of dance (as "jig" or "polka") but the most famous one took the name so now if you say "La Monferrina"you mean this song and not another. Always if it's the tune you're searching... |
