From: GUEST,Hotspur There are quite a few sea songs/ shanties about sailors being tricked, drugged, and robbed by pretty lasses, and warning other sailors to be careful (Maggie May, Peter Street, NY Girls, etc.). does anyone know of a song which covers this from the lasses' point of view? |

The nearest that comes to mind is JOHNNY TODD The tune is (for older UK Catters) the "Z-CARS" Theme Might be a good subject for a song competition - how fair Sue the trollop of Swansea's Wind St., entices and robs a homward bounder, and delivers her temporary love to the crimp. Just a thought Gareth |
